IFA's 2024 Open Community Exhibit

Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is announcing a call for art for its upcoming 2024 community exhibit, “The Big Show.” First, second and third place cash prizes will be awarded in recognition of IFA’s 20th anniversary.

 

Artwork will be displayed at Imago Gallery, 36 Market Street, January 13 – February 3 with drop off on Friday, December 29 from noon to 3 p.m. and Saturday, December 30 and from noon to 5 p.m.

 

A free, public reception for the participating artists will be held on Saturday, January 13, from 5 – 8 p.m.

 

All media, except for video or screen works, will be accepted. Artists may submit up to three works of art. Artwork must be original, 36 inches or less in all directions, and properly framed with wire or ready for display. All art submitted must be for sale and must not have been previously shown at Imago. Artists must also be at least 18 years of age.

 

The submission fees are $15 for one, $30 for two or $40 for three works of art. IFA will take a 30 percent commission on all sales. Pick up of artwork at the conclusion of the exhibit is Sunday, February 4, 2024 from noon to 3 p.m.

On-line advance registration and payment is closed.

Paper submission forms, labels and in-person payment can be done in the gallery today from 12-5pm.
