Imago welcomes acoustic folk twins Chris & Meredith Thompson on April 12

Sunday, April 12 | 4–6 PM, Doors Open at 3:30 PM | Imago Gallery| $20 â€‹

Chris and Meredith Thompson are twins, who perform acoustic music featuring guitar, percussion, flute, and sibling harmony. Tom Lounges in the Beat describes the duo as “powerful performers with a natural warmth for the live concert stage.”

Best known for the unique blend of their nearly identical voices, the Thompsons create a sound that is genuine, beautiful, and moving.

Starting at Stone Soup Coffeehouse in Providence, R.I. in 1992, they have played in venues across the country and released six albums as they tell stories that resonate and celebrate common experiences. Read more about them at: cmthompson.com and download their music at chrismerediththompson.bandcamp.com.

Writing in the Spotlight, published in Portsmouth, N.H., Mary Ann Robertson, observes "It is their mix of intriguing stories of people's hopes and histories that makes the Thompsons’ music so compelling."

Admission is $20. Tickets are available at the door or may be purchased in advance on  Eventbrite or reserved by emailing MusicAtImago@gmail.com.
