IFA 2021 Mail Art Project

POSTCARDS become Art

Send us your artwork on a postcard.

The only restriction is your own imagination!

​

• Art forms could include Drawing, Painting, Stamping, Collage, Poetry, Song Lyrics, Mixed Media, etc.

• The project is open for anyone who wants to participate (over the age of 18). The goal is for individuals to create work independently or for artists to collaborate with other artists, establishing connections by working together.

• This is a non-juried exhibition and a way for artists to feel connected while practicing social distancing and supporting the art community.

• Display decisions and arrangement will be made by IFA’s Exhibition Committee.

• Once received postcards will become the property of the Imago Foundation for the Arts, and at the close of the exhibit IFA plans to donate the cards to the permanent collection of a regional arts or cultural organization. When this transaction is complete, each artist will be notified so you may list it on your resume.

DEADLINE - Work must be postmarked by February 22nd or earlier

​

• Submission is a two-step process. Mail your postcard to the gallery and complete this online submission form

• All work must be original and on a 4”x6” postcard

• A submission fee of $10 must be paid on the online portal. Additional entries @ $5 per entry, maximum 10 entries are encouraged

• The submitting artist must be at least 18 years old

• Please be sure to PRINT your name, your return address and the title of work on the reverse of the card and address it to
