"Dare to Create" is an exhibit that will showcase artworks in honor of the late IFA Community Member, Carole Villucci. Carole devoted her life to advocating for the arts. Her influence extended beyond a personal commitment of nurturing the creativity of her family; she also served as a valuable supporter to generations of art teachers. As a lifelong advocate, she played a pivotal role in significantly contributing to the development and growth of art as education in the region, thereby shaping the landscape of Art Education in Rhode Island.

Carole's unwavering belief in the significance of art and her infectious enthusiasm has motivated Imago to call attention to the importance of art teachers and their artistic contributions by hosting this exhibit. Her personal art practice was all-embracing, involving an intense exploration of image-making. This comprehensive journey encompassed painting, collage, drawing, as well as sumi-e ink, inspiring Imago Foundation for the Arts to welcome k-12 art teachers to submit artworks in all mediums for this exhibit.
