Oct 12 Presentation on the impact of color and light

Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) will host a presentation by IFA Exhibiting Artist Rina Naik and interior designer Melanie Pellegrini of Pellegrini Design LLC, at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 12 in conjunction with its exhibit, Chromatics: Deconstructed Landscapes.”

 

All are welcome to attend this free event.

 

In her talk entitled, “Curating Emotion: The Intersection of Art and Interior Design Through Color and Light,” Pellegrini will lead a discussion on color and its impact on spaces and its influence on the way we live and experience our lives and participate in a chat with IFA Exhibiting Artist Rina Naik about her multi-media studies of chromatics and deconstructed landscapes which are featured in the gallery.​

Based in Lincoln, Massachusetts, with 17 years of professional experience in both commercial and residential design, Pellegrini holds a BFA in Graphic Design from MassArt and an MA in Interior Design from Suffolk University. She has a passion for breathing new life into historic New England homes, harmoniously blending the character and craftsmanship of original architecture with a curated mix of timeless antiques and contemporary pieces suited for modern living. 

 

Pellegrini's unique blend of contemporary aesthetics and antique accents has earned her recognition in Architectural Record, WorkDesign Magazine, Boston Globe Magazine, and even the Golf Channel. Beyond her design work, Melanie is a passionate educator, sharing her expertise as a part-time Adjunct Professor at Suffolk University and Endicott College since 2010.
