401 Gives is a Rhode Island-only day of giving to support the non-profits that are important to you
Imago is participating for the second time this year and we hope you will consider making an on-line gift of any amount during the 2026 401 Gives campaign. 401 Gives takes place from 6 AM on March 31 to 6 PM on April 1.
Last year, the statewide 401Gives program made Rhode Island history by raising over $4.9 million for 644 local nonprofits from over 19,000 donors. IFA raised just under $2,200 from 34 generous donors and we are hoping to increase the total raised this year by setting an ambitious goal of attracting 50 donors and raising $4,000 with the help of donors and 401 Gives sponsors.
A gift of any amount helps and because the United Way of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Foundation and many other generous sponsors match gifts that come in this way, the effect of your donation is multiplied.

Matching Incentives
Several site-wide sponsors will be matching on-line donations. Here are 5 opportunities you might want to consider:

Starting at 6am on March 31, the first $20,000 donated will be matched by Papitto Opportunity Connection. Maximum match per donor, per nonprofit is $500.

Starting at noon. on March 31, up to $25,000 in donations will be matched by Rhode Island Energy Foundation. Maximum match per donor, per nonprofit is $500.

Starting at 1 PM on March 31, up to $25,000 in donations will be matched by Rhode Island Energy. Maximum match per donor, per nonprofit is $500.

Starting at 4 PM on March 31, the next $20,000 donated site-wide will be matched by the Rhode Island Foundation at $20 each. There is no maximum donation, minimum gift is $5. The maximum match is $20 per donor, per nonprofit.

Starting at 4 PM on April 1, up to $30,000 in donations will be matched by Rhode Island Foundation by $25 each. There is no maximum donation, minimum gift is $5. The maximum match is $25 per donor, per organization.
