Delivery of artwork:
Saturday, January 5th 2-6 pm &
Sunday, January 6th 11 am-3 pm
$15 for one work
$30 for two works
$40 for three works
Pickup of artwork at close of exhibit:
Sunday, January 27 4 - 6 pm
Monday, January 28th 3 - 7 pm
All submitting artists must be at least 18 years of age
All artwork must be original and not have been shown previously at IFA
Artwork may not be more than 36" in any direction
All work must be properly framed (with wire) and ready for display. Works that not ready for display will not be accepted.
All artwork must be for sale
IFA receives 25% commission on all sales. This will be used to support IFA and its mission and programs.
Although all reasonable care will be exercised in handling artwork, IFA is not responsible
for any lost, stolen or damaged artwork.
What is a salon style exhibit?
Artwork of every size and style, on every subject, stacked up to the ceiling. Salon style art walls are so popular these
days — it's easy to forget that the look has been around for hundreds of years. The origins of this trend is the French
Salon, it marked a democratic turning point, a moment when artists began responding to a public audience rather than
a royal dictate. The most famous Salons were held annually or bi-annually in Paris beginning in 1737, it is named after
the room at the Louvre where the exhibit was held, the Salon Carré, or square room.
